Training with the State Fire Service

At Re Alloys, the priority is the safety of our employees and the uninterrupted operation of the plant. To strengthen our procedures and improve cooperation with emergency services, we have launched a series of practical training exercises carried out together with the State Fire Service in Mikołów.

The programme includes three key scenarios that enable us to verify the effectiveness of our actions in situations requiring an immediate response:

  • Evacuation of the administration and office building, focused on assessing response time and team coordination.
  • A simulation of freeing a person trapped under a loading bucket in Department WIV – an exercise reflecting a critical incident that requires swift action.
  • Construction of a suction line from the water tank of the former cooling tower, serving as a test of equipment readiness and procedures during firefighting operations.

We extend our thanks to the firefighters from the Mikołów State Fire Service for their professionalism, support, and valuable guidance. Regular exercises remain a key element in building a strong safety culture, which we continue to reinforce at Re Alloys in a consistent and systematic manner.
