Last weekend saw another edition of our “Get Out, Plant a Tree” initiative. Thanks to the tremendous dedication of our employees, their families, and scouts from the Mikołów district, 3,000 new trees have enriched the forest in Orzesze!
This was the third edition of our project, which has now become our flagship local ecological initiative. In total, across all editions, we have planted almost 10,000 trees! And this is only the beginning—we have even more environmental actions planned!
Our initiative is more than just tree planting. It’s a shared commitment to nature’s future and deliberate actions for the environment.
With support from Luma Foundation, participants had the chance to create their own bird feeders, which they took home to help feed wild birds year-round, especially during the upcoming winter season.
Thank you to everyone involved: our employees, the Scouts from Orzesze, Mikołów and Łaziska Górne, the football players from Orzeł Mokre for their support and enthusiasm, as well as Lasy Państwowe and Nadleśnictwo Kobiór for preparing the land and seedlings, and Luma Foundation for providing the bird feeders.
Trees and forests are our shared treasure—they clean the air, produce oxygen, and have a positive impact on our health. Let’s care for them together, as every sapling is an investment in a better future.
