On 30th September we carried out the first action of afforestation of Łaziska Górne – “Leave work, plant a tree” which initiates a series of measures aiming at reducing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, also CO2 our plant is emitting. But this is not our only purpose.
Our objectives are also:
environmental education
promotion of pro-environmental attitude
creation of natural screens reducing CO2 in the atmosphere and protecting Re Alloys’ neighbours against noise.
During the “Leave work, plant a tree” action, our employees planted 300 seedlings See a short video.
There is still another event of this series ahead of us where we will be planting 5,000 trees
