Fire People’s Parade in Chorzów

On 4 May, we took part in the “Fire People’s Parade” in Chorzów – an event commemorating St Florian, the patron saint of metallurgists, firefighters and all professions associated with fire.

A ceremonial procession of representatives from industries whose daily work relies on the power and significance of fire moved through the city streets. The event highlighted the unique identity of Chorzów as a “city of fire” and its strong ties to industry and metallurgical traditions.

During the ceremony, we laid a wreath at the monument of St Florian, paying tribute to all those who, through their knowledge, experience and dedication, build the foundations of modern industry. For us, it was an important moment to reflect on the role of tradition in the development of contemporary technologies and production.

We believe that nurturing the values and heritage of the industry allows us to shape the future responsibly and strengthen its potential.
